This is one of the oldest and most precious parish churches of the March of Treviso. Standing in a panoramic position, St Peter’s Parish Church is a splendid work of the Lombard period. It was built in the year 1000, but as early as the VII and VIII centuries it was a meeting place for the faithful who came here for the many religious ceremonies.
They came especially for baptisms. In fact, this parish church was the only one with a baptismal font, and its territory included the villages of Formeniga, Refrontolo and Collalbrigo.
